hello everyone!! i so meant to post this the first of june but time so gets away from me these days..
i had been following along with Kate every month starting in january 2013. i wrote something every single day for the whole year and even recorded as far as the end of March this year. i was so proud that i actually did this. when i had started i even bought a Dylusions journal specifically for this purpose thinking i would do this the rest of my life.
well life caught up.. exciting mind you but it definitely has been busy.
so….. what gave me the kick in the arse to start it again….my Nanny went in hospital in May. i love my Nanny with my whole being and it gives me that needed jolt to realize just how precious life is. how we take things.. PEOPLE…for granted. so i went back and read through last years calendars and what did i see… she went in hospital in May last year too!!!! see how important it is to keep track of things.. to me it was a kick in the arse to take those moments.. MY moments… and record them for no other purpose than to remember MOMENTS.
i hope some of that makes some sense…my jibberjabber is a simple message… what i based my whole website, business, life around..

i need to remembering to live in the now.. to appreciate the MOMENTS.
and with the recent terrible heartbreaking last few days my fellow New Brunswickers have been going through.. it makes me appreciate even more how much we need to cherish every single millisecond of our lives. May the families/friends/colleges of the fallen and wounded RCMP officers know we are all thinking and sending strength and prayers your way

You are so right about ‘moments’ Diana, the recent events were quite shocking, it made me think (and worry) about my brother who lives in Nova Scotia.

Love your calendar page (you background is amazing!) and I so agree with everything you have written. I have almost 5 years worth of calendar pages now and recordings life’s events has become a way of life now. If we don’t make a record so much gets forgotten. Lovely page and lovely words 🙂
