Hello there everyone. Eileen Hull’s January Art with Heart Challenge is up and running. We want to see your projects and you could win a new Vintage Kitchen 3-D Oven die!
our theme this month is ‘Fresh Ideas’ and for my project I wanted to create something fresh, new, for a friend of mine.
the loaf pan is perfect created into a pin cushion the cookie box die was made into a button holder
the centre button and the inside are both from a box of goodies one of my running buddies was giving away. the Singer paper reminds me of my mom and I am sure it will remind her of hers as well
and the window box die i created as a holder for spools of thread or quilt pins
the fabric pieces were specifically chosen for my friend… her birthday, her husbands birthday and their anniversary
all pieces were created using distress inks and layers of clear embossing powder. i wanted her to be able to handle them and trust them around her quilts with out worry of the distress ink rubbing off.
there is one more piece to this collection which i will be sharing later on this month.
i hope you like it.. i hope she likes it…. don’t forget to play along with the Art with Heart Challenge for your chance to own one of Eileen’s dies!
i am also linking up to Inspiration Journal. the challenge over there for the month is ‘Fresh Start’ do join in on the challenges!!
til next time
