today i am here to show you my take on this weeks challenge over at Art to the 5th (http://www NULL.arttothe5th NULL.com/).
i started off using a mop up page i had created while creating a project for Art Anthology. i loved the stone effects used through the brick stencil and am so glad i save these pieces. it is the perfect background start for this weeks challenge.
here is my page for the week!!! same as always, a place to record my thoughts are on the back of the dated page!
hope you are playing along as well
hello everyone!! i am back today to just do a quick post to show you my take on this weeks challenge over at Art to the 5th (http://www NULL.arttothe5th NULL.com).. i am loving doing the Document Life Project.
and a couple of close ups!!
hope you too are playing along!!! it is a great opportunity to get a weekly prompt, a quote to think on and to get your hands dirty!!!!
remember, for a closer look, just click on the photo!!
Hello everyone!! today i am here to show you a little journal i created using a Basically Bare mini album and a variety of Art Anthology products.
most of the pages have been prepped using gesso and others i left bare just to get different effects using the different products
so grab yourself a little java and let’s take a boo!!
this page was created mainly with colourations, no gesso
on the next two pages i used some sunshine sorbet through the bubbles stencil by Art Anthology.. LOVE
this one was pre gessoed …i love how the drippage turned out!! i ask used some butterfly embellies by Art Anthology on this page
for this page i used a bit of texture paste and lots of coloration and plain old water
oh how i love the colours of these velvets and how this page turned out!!
this page is mainly colorations but a bit of left over velvet from the page above.. i am a big believer in not wasting so i always try to create a start on a blank page prior to ‘starting’ it!!
i hope you have enjoyed browsing through my pages and that you have become inspired to create your own!!
hello everyone and happy new year to you.
today marked the first day/prompt of the new year from the ladies over at Art to the 5th (https://arttothe5th NULL.squarespace NULL.com/journal/2014/12/19/the-original-documented-life-the-journal-january-1) – the original Document Life Project.
i am going to try really hard this year to make time for ME each week. i am spending the year focusing more on my heART, healing and health.
i will also be creating with the following design teams, the ladies from the Dream Team (http://artanthologyinc NULL.com/blog/), creating 3D madness over at Artist on the Block (http://theartistsontheblock NULL.com) with some lovely creative ladies and last but not least, creating art with heart with Eileen Hull’s (http://www NULL.eileenhull NULL.com) Inspiration Team.
yes.. it is indeed going to be a busy but i am so sure fulfilling year.
so here you go.. my first page in my Dylusions journal for DLP
i chose the colours of the day from our Resolution Run this morning… it was a good way to start my year!!
hope your day was just as good.
here is to 2015!!!
today i am going to share with you a quick project i created..well quick minus the drying time that is
first i started with a 6×6 wood panel board and coated the whole thing with Art Anthology Stone Effects in Java..
i then added some Golden Crackle paste and set it aside for two days. i wanted it to be good and dry before my next steps
for my next step it was time to start layering on the colorations in a multitude of colours
now i had seen a really cool piece of art work somewhere where they added little gemstones to their piece of work and if i can find it i will definitely link it in here!!
i didn’t have gemstones but i do have a lot of those dewdrops from a few years ago so i dug some of them out and added them, in different sizes, throughout my piece
to finish my canvas off i add a bit, or a lot, of Art Anthology’s newest spray, Diamond!! love how it has just the right amount of sparkle!!

it reminds me of all the different colours/seasons we have in our little part of the world…sometimes in a span of a month even!!
