i was just looking though my site and realized that i didn’t post my August calendar yet!! it is full of texture and distress crayons!
so here it is!!
august was/is such a busy month…i’ve been lucky enough to do a bit of travel, have some much needed visits in with family near and far, celebrated 10 years of marriage as well as spend some time in the studio just enjoying.
hope your summer has been going well and that you too have been creating!
i am here today to just quickly post my July calendar page.
today we are celebrating Canada Day here but July also brings celebrations for many this month.. July 4th for my friends in the US, birthdays, anniversaries and losses are also celebrated this month.
here is my page using the distress crayons and mica sprays
i hope this month brings you tonnes of celebration and possibilities!
i am just popping in today quickly to wish you all a very joy filled June!!!
June is about focusing on hope for all good things, those little moments that we should all try to be aware of as being the important ones and the eternal gratitude that our eyes have opened as many days thus far as they have.

have a beautiful loving month my friends…
today I am here to show you my first three calendar pages I created for my 2016 calendar. I had intended to do all one big post with all 12 pages but well, honestly, I haven’t finished them all yet!! LOL
so I stared with using these (http://www NULL.oneluckyday NULL.net/2015/11/2016-flip-frame-calendar NULL.html) calendar pages from Paula Cheney’s (http://www NULL.oneluckyday NULL.net/)page. she does a calendar each year for us and I have been using it for a few years now. this year I was so inspired by her vintage pages that I decided that is exactly what I wanted for this years flip frame calendar for my office.
I have decided that I would like to keep each of these pages and write a summary of my month on the back of them and bind them somehow but I am not quite sure yet how. so with that said I didn’t want to punch holes in them anywhere at this time…. a quick solution was to clip them to the inside of one of Tim’s mini books
so out came my cherished supplies and my sewing machine and I was off and creating!!
now January has come and gone so I am thinking what I will probably end up doing is putting the May calendar numbers over top this January page and using it for 2017!!!
i will probably be back to show you the next few pages as soon as i get them done!!!
enjoy your crafting time!

hello everyone!! i so meant to post this the first of june but time so gets away from me these days..
i had been following along with Kate (http://thekathrynwheel NULL.blogspot NULL.com/) every month starting in january 2013. i wrote something every single day for the whole year and even recorded as far as the end of March this year. i was so proud that i actually did this. when i had started i even bought a Dylusions journal specifically for this purpose thinking i would do this the rest of my life.
well life caught up.. exciting mind you but it definitely has been busy.
so….. what gave me the kick in the arse to start it again….my Nanny went in hospital in May. i love my Nanny with my whole being and it gives me that needed jolt to realize just how precious life is. how we take things.. PEOPLE…for granted. so i went back and read through last years calendars and what did i see… she went in hospital in May last year too!!!! see how important it is to keep track of things.. to me it was a kick in the arse to take those moments.. MY moments… and record them for no other purpose than to remember MOMENTS.
i hope some of that makes some sense…my jibberjabber is a simple message… what i based my whole website, business, life around..
i need to remembering to live in the now.. to appreciate the MOMENTS.
and with the recent terrible heartbreaking last few days my fellow New Brunswickers have been going through.. it makes me appreciate even more how much we need to cherish every single millisecond of our lives. May the families/friends/colleges of the fallen and wounded RCMP officers know we are all thinking and sending strength and prayers your way
okay enough said.. here is my calendar.
enjoy your moments my friends
