Eileen Hull and Stampotique

hello everyone!

this month Eileen Hull‘s Inspiration Team has collaborated with Stampotique stamps  to create some beautiful projects.. I hope you have checked them all out!!

today I am very excited to share with  the project I complete using Eileen Hull’s Passport Book die.

how did i create such rich backgrounds…well let me tell you!!  I basically started out by removing the caps from the clearsnap containers and layered paint onto my craft mat. this paint is so rich..seriously you don’t need very much and it goes so so far!!

I repeated it with blends of warm colours on the back side and then layered the warm on the cool

I love how rich of a colour these are.. like seriously  Eileen Hull’s ColorBox Blend inks in Stop (Red)!!

once the pieces were dry it was a matter of stitching around the outside and then I stamped Row Faces , one of my all time favourite stamps designed by the team of Jill Penney & Daniel Torrente, along the bottom of each piece to make them all blend together

I then stamped onto a separate piece of watercolour paper all the bits I wanted to add to my passport book . and to clean my stamps off I stamped them onto the above background just to add a bit more dimension!

I chose to use stamps designed by the fabulous and talented Kate Crane; the Scribble Angel Angel Squared, Hold on Tight and Guardian and once stamped using archival ink I coloured them in using the colorbox ink and a waterbrush

and now for a few pictures .. okay a lot of pictures.. of the finished book. as you will see it is a little book meant to send someone on a scavenger hunt!!

I had so much fun creating this little book…. now to decide what to do with it!!!!

thanks for stopping by today. I hope you do take the time to visit Eileen’s page to see what the rest of month had brought you and check back next week for the recap on Eileen’s blog!
