hello everyone!!!
i am here to share with you a project created with a combination of Eileen Hull new release the Heartfelt collection and Kunin Felt. Kunin Felt is made in the USA of 100% Polyester Fibre, made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles and it is of the highest quality and cuts like a dream when combined with Eileen’s Dies.
I opted to created using Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Thinlits Die House pocket stitchlit along with the Sizzix Thinlit Stitchy Flower and Leaf set and that along with the Kunin felt made this a quick and easy project that can be whipped up in no time.
I started by cutting out three houses and various flowers and leaves using different colours of felt. I absolutely love all the colours that I have of felt so the biggest decision was which ones to use!!
after stitching the edges of the houses, which now became banner bits, I started to randomly stitch on some of the flowers using buttons
along with the adding of flowers and buttons, I added this butterfly along with the heart in the centre one
and the stitchlits with the words make stitching for someone who doesn’t stitch very easy!!
I finished up the whole project by adding bits of beads and here you have this weeks project!
one of my favorite things to do is challenge myself in creating something out of my element and that is exactly what I did…okay, well maybe it isn’t one of my favourite things to do but it sure is challenging in an exciting way!
I hope you have taken the time this month to stop on over to Eileen’s page and visited all the links from the rest of the inspiration team….I tell you there has been lots and lots of that!!
til next time
