Eileen Hull May flowers – one wish

hello everyone!!

this month the Eileen Hull Inspiration Team are sharing with you a whole bouquet of May Flowers using Eileen’s dies!!

this is the piece I created!!

i started out by cutting from both matboard and paper a trinket box and a planner. I glued them all together and added some lace

I then die cut the coin slot out of the side of the trinket box and started gluing and layering bits and pies of wood to my trinket box top

then it was time to die cut some flowers using difference bits of cardstock and my sidekick

now it was time for assembling and I totally got lost in the excitement of creating this piece and it just kept growing and changing.

here are a few close ups of my project. i absolutely love love love how these flowers turned out. i had die cut them and then embossed them, sanded the cardstock, wet them and shaped them and then glued them all together cascading off the stand.

I love using trash stash things for projects so I used an old paper spool and covered it with tissue tape and paper to add even more dimension to my piece and added the paper covered insert from the trinket box die as a stand

there are also little elements of wood bits tucked through out the piece

and these words were the inspiration that started this whole piece. I thought that it was a nice idea to have placed on a table at a wedding for a couple.. the paper pad was perforated  so one can just tear off a piece and add their wish (I would highly recommend a larger box if one was to recreate this idea or many little trinket boxes glued together)

and once again here you have my piece for this months challenge

thanks for stopping by

until next time friends,

diana

I have been thinking about you all week….hope you are drying up. I can’t believe you can even create under the circumstances. But WOW…you are! LOVE this beauty all stacked up, and love the flowers…gloriously grungy yet elegant! Sending you hugs…wish I could help.

What a creative idea first of all – to have at a wedding reception – and I love how your put all of these seemingly unrelated items together! Beautiful papers and flowers – and design! Julia xx
