Eileen Hull – Pocket House = Chore holder

hello everyone!

today i am here to share with you a quick and easy project you can create using the Eileen Hull pocket house die!!

i am always looking for ways to use my dies in a different way and this is what i came up with this time!!   here is basically what i did.

  •  place a piece of fabric onto a piece of double sided adhesive.
  • cover a sheet of mat board with double sided adhesive and cover with felt
  • die cut a house out of the fabric and two out of the felt/mat board
  • die cut one piece of mat board from the 3D die
  • using a strong adhesive place all together and decorate

i then just put together some tags which i had die cut and decorated with various chores on the back.    your child (or spouse LOL) can then just chose a tag each day/week and do assigned chores!

just one of so many ways this versatile die can be used!!!

and did you know that there is a new Maker Challenge happening over at Sizzix!!!!  I hope you get the chance to join in with this fabulous challenge. there are some fabulous prizes on offer.  just click on this photo for the direct link!

i hope you have a chance to play along or to even just play!!

until next time
