I LOVE FALL!!!
it is by far my favourite season… i love them all for their own individual reasons but fall i feel right in my core…
for this months ATB challenge over at the Art with Heart challenge is a theme of Fall back. there have been some spectacular projects before mine…truly spectacular so i hope you do take a moment to hop on over there and take a boo at them
for mine i kept it quite simple.
i started out by colouring some ribbon with distress inks
i used a Tim Holtz texture fade and one of his Stamper Anonymous reflection stamps and ran each mat board piece through my vagabond
then i used the Harlequin stencil and added a bit of walnut stain to the ATB
loved where it was going so then decided that i needed to add a bit of smoothness so added some distress embossing ink and clear embossing powder to my ATB by placing my stencil over top the walnut stained bits and embossed only the broken china bits along with my pumpkins
yes.. happy happy happy with that.
now it was time to put it all together. i wanted to be able to close it and open it with ease so i grabbed myself one of the elastics, added a bauble and tada!!
the only thing left to do was to add a bit of tissue paper to the insides. i am planning on adding a nice fall cupcake and handing this out as a little token of friendship…. will post pics later !!!
well that is it for my ATB for now. Remember to stop by The Artists on the Block Blog to see other inspiring projects.
