.it is hard to believe how fast the time goes.. week 15 already over at Studio L3.
this week Barbara Washington and Rinda Ontiveros have been challenged with yet one more spectacular Tim Holtz challenge. this time from 2007. check it out here .
This week i am working on an idea for a Christmas card for a challenge going on over at APOS! Each week during the month of July, one of the inspiration team members will be publishing a Christmas card challenge.
The first Christmas card challenge was from Jen and last weeks challenge was brought to us from Tams. Please drop by and see what they have come up with!!
so back to my Grunge Monday challenge… see how easy it is for me to get sidetracked.. no wonder i seem to have so many things going on at the same time!!!!
so i started by swiping rusty hinge across the tag, sprinkkled with clear emboss, flicked, but not too hard, heated and then used frayed burlap. Next i used 4 different red based distress inks, stamped the image on a separate tag and embossed with clear once again. Next it was time to use the black emboss powder for SIX. i couldn’t find my black distress ink and therefore was pleasantly surprised when archival ink worked just fine. then it was just a matter of adding a little of this and a little of that and ta-da.. tag done.
til next time…
HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!
