hello everyone!!
I bet that title grabbed your attention didn’t it!!! LOL…
today i am here to share with you a special project i created for the blog hop that is/has been happening this week between Emerald Creek and StencilGirlTalk.. today is day three so i sure hope you have been hopping along!
I was approached by Kim, the owner of Emerald Creek Designs, in March of this year asking me to take part in her December blog hop.. now that is planning ahead right!! i adore Kim and didn’t hesitate in the least to say heck yes i am in!!!
so let us get started on what I created using the stencils along with some oxide ink!!
first thing I did was I started out by inking three separate panels flowing the colours from warm to cool
next I laid my stencils down and added some depth to my panels
then using some texture paste sprinkled with embossing powder I added my images.
once the images were dry I zapped it with my heat tool to heat set the embossing powder!
now it was time to break out those little bits of quarry from Emerald Creek. I just knew these would be the perfect accent to this piece.
I basically laid a heavy layer of gel medium to my imagines, added some pieces of quarry and set it aside to dry! how simple is that
and here you have, some close ups, of my finished piece!
and the final show …
it is a free standing tri-fold that sits on a special someones desk
now seeing as this is a blog hop you just have to know there is a prize package for one lucky winner right!!!
and what might it be you ask!!!!
