mixed media monthly challenge #39 – photo inspiration

hello everyone

today i am here to share with you some mid month inspiration for the August – Mixed Media Monthly challenge #39 – Inspiration Photo!

this month we had the pleasure of partnering up with Indigo Blu

i had received  the Floral Fantasy and the Country House set and for my first challenge i had used Floral Fantasy….. for my second i wanted to use both!

now when looking at the County House stamp i couldn’t not see it as a door to a fairy home!  so i started my art journal page by stamping and layering my flowers on one corner, the fairy door on the bottom and then taping off a tree i started making a fairy home

i mixed a bit of paint with texture paste and applied through the stencil

and then i coloured my tree using some watercolour pencils

added a few more flowers and butterflies to the page

a little fairy sitting on a tree stump chatting with the butterfliesand here you have it, my finished page!
