Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #43 – mid month in believe

hello everyone!

so can you believe it is already the middle of December…holy moly crazy right! Christmas is right around the corner!!!

i wanted to share with you today a quick little project i have created for the mid month prompt for Mixed Media Monthly Challenge

here is our badge that you need to use in your posting if you are playing along

remember at the first of the month i created a box top to hold a special project…. well this is the cover to the book of that special project i have been working on.

i started out by covering it with platinum crackle paste and then i pressed into that while it was still wet various pieces of chipboard from Boozybear

i love squishing my chipboard into wet paste

i added a bit of extra grit paste to the mix, then left it to dry

i love how it looks the next day

then it was time to add bits of colour.. or lots of bits of colour

now i wanted to age it but i also wanted to keep with the same colour theme as the cover to my box. so i started out by adding some Walnut Ink sprays in varying colours along with some DecoArt sprays.

i just kept adding and taking and spraying water and well made a few layers of wetness and then i had to set it aside to dry

once it was dry i added a few little words and a bit of spray. here you have my final piece/cover of a special book

i want this book to be a special place for special moments….. now to start adding them
