Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #44 – mid month posting!!

hello everyone!!

It’s mid-month inspiration time over at Mixed Media Monthly. Our theme this month is ‘Ring in the New’ and  remember you still have time to enter!

Image may contain: text

and here is my project.. i have done two pages to share with you

these pages are part of my ‘new’ journal and a ‘new’ year of calendar making.

the page started out with a thin layer of gesso followed by a few sprays of some Art Anthology. once that was all dry i applied some archival ink to some stamps and stamped on the outside of both pages. next i added some texture paste through one of my The Crafter’s Workshop stencils and then some gold paste through another.

on one page i added my words and on the other page i added my stencil and a mandala

pretty quick and easy page for each week. i hope you enjoyed them

until next time my friends,

diana

Supplies used:

TCW681 Bauhaus
TCW9009 –  black modelling paste
as well some much loved retired stencils

Art Anthology sprays – patience,timeless,barbie

Kaisercraft stamps

Cool pages! I love all the layers and texture you’ve created. for this fabulous artwork. Thank you for your sweet comment on my Intentions “canvas”. I had a chuckle at your oops with the cable cord! I demanded my son give me his old ones when he got the new ones in his stocking for Christmas. I didn’t want the house to burn down. Mine looked even worse, and Santa brought me a new USB cable, too!

Your two words tie in together so beautifully. The yoga pose spread is the perfect for both of them.
