getting this in by the skin of my teeth!!
it has been a nice relaxing day here. got a bit of yard work done, a relax on the deck and a bit of play time. a good day.
today my main thing i wanted to finish was the seasonal color palette put forth by Ranger
so here is my take:
i started out using my distress inks in my dylusion’s journal. i applied them with the blending tool and then flicked water on the page and heat set.
next i took out some of my stamps and my archival inks and applied them to the backgrounds using various colours
then it was time to colour the flowers and birds with my distress markers
and so here is my submission.
it was my first attempt at using my distress inks and markers in my art journal! thanks for the challenge Ranger!!
and speaking of challenges over at Simon Says Stamp and Show they have a background stamp challenge going on! i am so entering this in that challenge as well!

This is very cool! I love that you used the bird stamp over and over again. (I have that stamp and never thought doing that.) 🙂 I love your flowers and sentiment too!
Lovely….and what a great sentiment to match your design! Love it. Popping over from SSS just to take a peek!

This is just a lovely page. It caught my attention in the tennie tiny size, but it’s even better here. Congratulations on winning SSS! Well deserved.
