Hey everyone! i am here to share with you my project i created for the blog hop that is happening between Eileen Hull’s Inspiration team and Stampendous!!
the Inspiration Team and the Stampendous team have been bringing you fresh ATB inspiration and more all week-long. i sure hope you have been following along !!!
did I mention there are also some fabulous prizes to be won? more details on that after i show you what i created….
now i received three wonderful vintage sets to play with and i swear they were chosen just for me!!! i have been away for vacation (more on that later this week!), came home with a cold and serious sleep issues BUT i was so inspired with my set that i started and worked until done
you see as much as i love being on vacation i truly do love being home and sometimes when i am away i wish i could click my heels and be there.. so i decorated my ATB with the Wizard of Oz in mind
i created an ATB using a checked blue dress to match Dorothy’s, created the ‘yellow brick road’ and of course those famous ruby red shoes!
now as an ATB i am quite liking it but LOVE what i can turn it into with just one pull
when i pull the lid up and peak it like a roof of a house i see ‘HOME’
and here it is as a house!!EDITED TO SHOW A SIDE VIEW FOR THOSE ASKING HOW THE BACK SWITCHED: i just pull it up to make a peak!!

now i mentioned prizes right…..
direct front the Stampendous Blog: “We know this form of crafting will spark your interest and give your mojo a serious boost! That’s why we have prizes!!! We’ll choose three winners at random from the comments on all blogs in the hop. Then from those three we’ll randomly pick a GRAND PRIZE winner! Two of the winners will receive Stampendous PenPattern Petal and PenPattern Flutter cling stamps. They’ll also receive enough pre-cut, premium matboard from Sizzix to make two boxes of your own, plus some extra pieces for fiddly bits! The Grand Prize winner will receive the stamps as above, a whole package of matboard, AND the Sizzix die to cut your own ATB boxes! Uh, WOW!

This is so pretty! I love that you decorated it so that it can be two different things!! That shoe is divine!! TFS!
There is no place like home! Very clever depiction that portrays memorie of home and the WIZARD.
Fabulous box! Love the texture and that fun window to the inside! Wonderful! 🙂
I love the development of this box. so cool.
This Oz themed block is amazing! Love the magic of opening the lid to reveal Dorothy’s wish for “home”. It’s been wonderful to play along with Eileen and the Inspiration team this week, thank you for creating such a wonderful ATB with your Stampendous goodies.
This is fabulous!
Looks so fun and
lovely.

What an awesome ATB! Love how you designed it to add “home” when the “roof” is lifted! Seriously creative!

Wowzers!! Loved the boot under the corner of the ‘house’, but then realized the changing scene was on the SAME side… How? Wish you’d show the mechanism for the switch for some of us mental fuddy-duddies. : ) Bookmarking this page for future ref… maybe fresh eyes will help me figure it out. : )
Such a clever idea, it looks great.
I love the way you used red shoes for the feet on the box!

Love your fantastic project.
Brilliant! Totally “outside the box” creativity. Or should I say “inside the box” LOL. I love it.
Fantastic box…or house…or box…
Love it!
I’m so glad you are feeling better Diana! I love how you pulled the Wizard of Oz symbology into it.
Absolutely brilliant! I love that you’ve made it so interactive. I would be sitting there playing with it all day …lol.
Hugs,
Snoopy 😀

Wonderful little creation, love it! Creative Blessings, Tracy x
This is so cool–I like the wizard of oz theme.
What a fun idea. This would work great for holidays. Make a Christmas box and after Christmas fold down the roof and store for next year. Love the shoes at the bottom.
thanks for sharing a clever project.
Sadly, I am still in Kansas and it is snowing but if i say there is no place like home I’d end up in Wisconsin. LOL Such a cool box. TFS
There really is no place like home. I like the little bit of steampunk you added. Nice block. It will bring many of us to remember the Wizard.
Ah, so very clever! Love the roof!
