well i made a decision that i simply can not wait until the perfect moment to sit down and create my tag each month for the 12 tags of 2014 challenge that tim puts on…i await each month for the 1st to see what wonders he has created to only not take the time to create..no more i say!
now i couldn’t do/use the same products that tim showed as i have packed most of my art room up in preparation for selling.. the house, not the art supplies!!
so i made a few substitutions.
i tried using what tissue tape i had but it didn’t work with the stamp i wanted to use so instead i used a torn piece of tissue paper
i had also packed away all my distress stains, except for tarnished bronze i believe, so instead used distress re-inkers and lots of water
so this wasn’t working, the stamp i mean, so that is why i used the tissue for my final submission
but i love that when using the re-inkers i had enough to do my first tag and second tag and even enough to have a mop up tag!
i love sewing on my tags!! i am not sure why i don’t do it more !!
so here is my final tag. i am so very very happy how it turned out!!
i used some tim stamps as well as one of Dina’sladies!! i absolutely love all of them!

i think one of my favourite parts of this month was using the distress embossing powder to simulate rust!! loved learning / seeing ways to use my ‘tools’ in a different way
