hello everyone!!
warm thoughts are unfolding as we begin to enter a festive time of year.
Eileen Hull (Eileen Hull Designs) and Kim Evans (Emerald Creek) and The Teams have created a fun Blog Hop Challenge to kick off the American Thanksgiving and Winter festivities – Winter Wishes. I was thrilled to be asked to join in the Blog Hop.
for my project i chose to use a the mini album die by Eileen Hull and the stained glass stamp Peace from Emerald creek!!
i used double sided adhesive and on one side of a piece of mat board i attached a piece of paper and the other side i added some adhesive backed canvas sheet. i had already stamped my image on a piece of vellum using some black soot archival ink to which i quickly then heat set it using Emerald Creek clear embossing powder. once that was dry i coloured the back side using distress markers.
i absolutely loved how this turned out.. next it was just a matter of embellishing the front cover and the inside.
i stitched the whole card and then did a bit of layering
and as you can see a bit of stickles added to the flowers and stems allows for that extra little glitter and shine
so much fun and will be so pretty sitting in the entry with a candle in behind it….
how would you like to see some more projects to add to your inspiration list…well grab a java and click your way through the folks below. don’t forget to leave everyone some love for your chance to win!!

This is a great way to use the die; like Anne said I can only imagine the beauty of that ‘stained glass’ when it’s lit from behind. That stamp is gorgeous, especially how you colored it. Thank you for the inspiration!
