world peace tag

hello everyone! today i am here to show you a tag i have created for my upcoming tag class.

i have created a lot of tags through the years but have to say the ones i am creating this year by far are going to be some of my favourites ever. here is a picture heavy  step out of one of them

i started by creating my own custom blend (actually i made two different patterns same inks)

i applied it direct to craft mat

added water and then placed my tag on top at which time i used a brayer

and this is what i got.

now there was  lots of ink left so i created a couple of them

i then spritzed my tag with water

and once dry i added some ground expresso to the entire tag
to which i added some more spritz of water and here is what i was left with

i then chose one and cut the ‘world’ out

and used another for the back ground

i then stamped a white tag with the script stamp and some hickory smok
and then i stencilled some stars

now it was time to assemble my ‘world’ using pop dots
i then added the ‘Peace on earth’ and here is my completed tag!
 i can’t wait to see how my students recreate this one later on this month and make their ‘world’ their own!
