just look at me go!!

maybe i am incorrect but it seems like it has been so long since i have actually just sat down and did scrapbooking but thanks to the challenges put forth by kelsey over at APOS! I have actually done some new layouts!!! and except for the back ground cardstocks all my papers and ribbons are scraps! i love the idea of using scraps but like many others i keep them but don’t actually use them.. this time i did!!

without further ado!!!

my little sweet brother in law. I used metal letters on the upper left corner (boy) that i have had in my stash since well forever ago!! entered into the challenge over at inspiration emporium!!

this is a picture of my son and I. prolly one of the first ones ever done. we were in one of those photo booths… a first for both of us. i have kept these photo’s for twenty years and thought why not put them in the album.. why am i gluing them to the wall or using them as bookmarks and always fearing losing them.

this layout was to be about something out doors. i love all the birds that come to our feeders at all the different seasons. i have tonnes of pictures but have never actually scrapbooked them. You see that swirl at the bottom of the picture, it is an EZEE PZEE product which i used my new white distress stain on, followed by a couple of squirts of color wash.. loved how it turned out!! 

well that is for now folks.. back to preparing for upcoming classes.
