here is another fun page from me.well i say fun because i so enjoyed creating it.
this time i used only gelatos and a sharpie poster pen and have to say that this whole page idea stemmed from design memory craft’s black velvet art created by Jen Matott. i saw it and i loved it but i didn’t have any velvet paper so opted instead to paint my background with black paint.
now i have to say i am still browsing my new favorite book, art journal freedom by Dina Wakley and i have always enjoyed Dina’s fancy loopy writing even though i know i will never write like that but maybe it is like everything else in life and will take some practice.
I love the masked silhouettes pages/layouts i see out there and i will be first in line at my LSS to purchase Dyan’s new masks/stencils of Annie, Bert and Flossie as well as the wonderful new stamps she has out…okay so i have gone off track a bit dreaming.. back to the page at hand diana!
as i don’t have any of them yet i made my own with my cricut and a bit of laminate.
hope you enjoyed. tonight i am working on using my new neocolour ii crayons. brand new thing to me and have to say i think i am going to like them.. a lot!
