Ezee Pzee – flower box

okay so we were all given the parts to put together and decorate a flower box. Now if you know me you know i can’t just do a flower box.. so i decided i would do a wheel barrel!!
so as you know i love using recycled products from around the house and that i did.

The ‘wheel is the center piece from a roll of ribbon and the sprocket centre is from a left over project piece. The legs are handles off an old used foam paint brush! I used fabric tac glue and attached them to the bottom of the flower box.

Next I stamped the side of the flower box with a white paint dabber on to a stamp. Left it to dry and then painted over the entire box with a red paint. Once the paint was almost dry I used a dampened paper towel and wiped some of the red off the stamped white.

I then covered the top of the flower box with left over duct tape. i love how it turned out.
so my flower box turned into a wheel barrel is pretty but in order for it to be complete I needed to add flowers!

Now I had wanted to use ‘real’ flowers but just couldn’t find the right ones so plastic ones it was!

My mannequins shorts are made with tissue tape which has been distress stained, glimmermisted and gesso’d. Her ‘top’ is a bounce sheet which has been sprayed with chalk (as is the tie that is holding her hat on)

so that left me with lots of little ezee pzee pieces left to do something with. so many pieces and so many choices.

so into my stash i went and i found this old wooden puzzle piece. i took the puzzle pieces out and then cut a piece of cardboard to fit. I took the cardboard and started tearing away the top layers. once i was happy with the look i took out the distress stains and started painting.. but wait what do i see.. looks like a figure looking back at me! and what do you ask made the texture on my flower clouds (one of ezee pzee flowers that i cut in half!).. why it was made by using beeswax! first time using my melt pot.. love it!

I really enjoyed doing this months project and I can’t wait to get started on the next one.

What are you going to do with your next ezee pzee ebellishment. leave me a comment for one ballot and a link to your project or send me a pic for the second ballot and i will do a random draw next Sunday for a little RAK which i will send to you! Follow me and you will get your name entered a third time!!!

Please take a moment and pop on over to the other dezign team members sites and see what magic they created with their Ezee Pzee pieces!!

til next time

HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!
