WELCOME color burst

hello everyone!!

today I am here to show you a quick and simple banner created using the Ken Oliver watermedia banner kit.

I started by covering the banners with DecoArt black gesso. I originally had the idea if I sprinkled color burst onto the gesso and then when I applied the DecoArt modeling paste through my TCW stencil my letters that the  paste would suck it up through and tada color bursted letters but it didn’t work as I wanted..  the universe decided that I needed them to just stay white!! I am okay with that

so instead I added my pops of colour using the butterfly daisy stamp and the butterfly daisy mandala stamp painting them using color burst and my paint brush. to give the images a crisper look I stamped them using the click-it ink pad and them heat embossed them using Emerald Creeks clear embossing powder.

I then cut them out using the matching die.. so quick and easy to do!

and then it is just a matter of decorating my banner
