so i thought i should start sharing a little bit on here…
I, once again, am going to try another challenge.. my own challenge… i want to beable to do something weekly.. and post weekly.. even if it is nothing more than what i am working on… not always a reason for it…
so for the start of this whole, i hope i can do this, is i am putting in a submission for the weekly Monday challenge over on Simon Says Stamp
so it is their birthday and they are 12 years old so to honour that i though i would try to do 12 layers!
my 12 layers were
- spread a thin layer of clear gesso
- using gel medium apply some prestamped tissue paper
- apply 3 paints in layers
- using a baby wipe and stencil remove some paint
- stamp using black archival ink
- apply a piece of media scribble
- glue on a pre decorated tag from a Dina class
- stamp and attach a medallion from glassine paper
- glue on a bird that was created from a Dina stencil
- cut out and paint a heart
- stamp a quote on to a piece of prepainted paper
- paint chipboard frame for around the quote
and here you have it…. my first page for this what i hope to be at least a weely page.
