a pile of sketches

i had been asked once again to provide an interpretation of a sketch challenge put out there by Vicki of A Pile of Sketches
for my first one i chose to use Bobunny papers .. i love love love this picture of my cousin’s daughter and even though i am not a ‘pink kind of girl’ the little one is so i just had to do her layout all girly like. i did manage to add a bit of distress ink as well as grungepaper.. i just couldn’t resist

for the second one, and i only did two because i love this sketch i chose to do a layout of my sister and i. the background started out as a cream cardstock, i layed down my Crafters Workshop branches stencil and sprayed some Goosebumps.. okay that has to be one product that i was soooo scared of trying but now must buy more… once it was dry i sprayed on color wash in various spots, added a bit of water to the paper and to my papertowel and wiped it off the goosebumps.. i love how it turned out!! once again i used Bobunny papers, left over from above layout, and added a bit of ‘stitching’ with my sharpie, a little bit of journalling and tous finis!!

thanks for stopping by. head on over to A Pile of Sketches to see what everyone else came up with.

til next time…

HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!

Beautiful layouts! Love the top one with that sweet little one.. all eyes are on her with your placement of accents! I’m a huge stencil fan and have the one you used on the page with you and your sister… thanks for the idea!
