art journal – creating backgrounds

i have started a new art journal this past weekend.
the original whole idea behind starting this one was i am going to try to do a bunch of different backgrounds to have prepared for when i am travelling or away at a scrapbooking weekend in October. this is a new concept for me but have seen/heard how quite a few of you out there do backgrounds and thus are prepared to work a different page at any given time. it also allows one to leave behind (YIKES) products such a sprays and will save accidentally spraying your tablemates art work by mistake!

so i prepared four different backgrounds using 3 Dylusions sprays per back ground. where will they take me i am not sure. but it sure was fun just spraying!!! here are my four prepared backgrounds to take on the road with me.

BUT i have to admit i only got that far creating backgrounds. you see as usual once i start on a page i simply can not stop so the next day when i thought i would try this again i ended up creating this:

and then i started more and created more and well those pages will have to wait for another day. i am sure they need a little bit more … but don’t they always as a rule!.
