art journalling – sunshine

sometimes life throws us curves balls. the best thing one can do is see the good in all things. sometimes a hard lesson but in the end one needs to find the peace with it right.

so for this page it was a whole lot of drawing and layer and then covering it all up. and then drawing and writing and covering it up with scraps of paint, dabs, okay splats of bombay ink.  when i started this earlier this week it was meant to be just a page that needed more….something… but the more i looked at it laying on my desk the more i realized it was perfect, to me, as it was. i love how the coloured layers turned out. it really speaks to me.

IMG_7018no matter what is thrown our way, remember that it can be all sunshine and roses…if we believe

i am linking this up to simon says stamp blog for their ‘ode to sunshine’ challenge. hope you get a chance to play along as well!!!
