hello everyone!!!!
It’s a new month and new theme for the Art with Heart Challenge. This month is all about Going Green.
so for my take on this challenge i chose to do the whole recycle portion of ‘green’
i started with cutting the packing I save from my monthly stencil girl stencils shipment. I am in need of a box or a basket you see to hold my hair products all nice and pretty like and I figured why buy when I can make.
so I started of first cutting out 3 sets of the mini album die, which i pieced together into a box after painting the inside black and then taped them together using, oh yes i did, hockey tape!!
then it was time to decide what / how i was going to decorate it. that is when i decided the Garden Gate Album die and my studio calico paper for many moons ago would come into play.
so after covering mat board with my paper i proceeded to cut out 4 gates plus i cut out 4 sets of the center of the mini album to reinforce the corners of my box
and then i also recut two sets of the mini album just with the studio calico paper for the outside and inside of my box… the black was nice but didn’t really go with the whole cleanness of my box
i am loving how it turned out and it is the perfect size for my products!
don’t forget to play along and link up to the Art with Heart Challenge. there is this month and always a great prize to be had!!
