Unsung Hero with Emerald Creek & altered pages!

hello everyone!!

i am here today to share with you a project i created for Emerald Creek in partnership with Altered Pages

so i knew as soon as i seen the artful nudes and fairy wings they would become the focus piece of my art journal page. here are few of the step outs for you to see my process

i started out by fussy cutting the two main pieces and then i cut out a skirt for my nude.

once it was cut to fit my artful nude lady i covered it with some Art Anthology Sorbet in various colours to match my lady

i then set that piece aside to dry and started working on my background page. i applied some sorbet through my TCW stencil

and then i carefully used the Kimilise stamp and and various shades of StazOn ink to edge my piece

next once everything was dry i used some heavy gel medium and some of the quarry bits and added a touch of crystal to my piece to which i infused with lots of reiki love

then it was just a matter of adding a few final touches to my fairy lady.. who i happen to believe is one of many unsung heroes who have come before us. They paved the way for us today.

and so here you have my finished piece after adding a few butterflies and some stitching

i think she is absolutely the coolest thing… love the attitude on her face!!

i had a lot of fun creating this project. i hope you have enjoyed and that you too are taking time to create. you can find a link to most of the products used below!

until next time my friends
