holy now that was a challenge for me and i need to step away before i add anymore to my page
i have always so admired all who do the shabby chic style and have so wanted to try but really it just isn’t me.
but you know what, by me taking this class with non other than THE tim holtz i wanted to take full advantage and do something that was totally out of my comfort range..
i was totally comfortable with the black background and the embossing but pastel paints and wait for drying and lightly wiping away is just not me.
but i KNEW i could do it if i just tried and in the end the result was me trying and me not trying to impress anyone else.
so here it is for the world (or whomever delights me and drops by) to see
i love this quote and it came from a class i took this year over at stephanie ackerman’s. now she is a person with a lot of heart and soul and has the ability to make you think and feel. i love her to pieces and if you get a chance to visit her site you should.
