hello everyone!
oh it seems forever since i have written up a blog post; i guess it’s been a while hasn’t it.
today though i am here to share with a cute and fast(ish) project i created in the spirit of ‘love’
i started out by cutting the suitcase from the Sizzix leather paper sheets to which i had added a few colors of ColorBox.
now seeing as I am fairly new to them I started out with a heavier touch then needed. i am loving all the colours but chose to use nutmeg, sunshine, melon and my newest fav, stop!
so how do I proceed.. well I added a bit of water and let my colours mix and mingle and then set it aside to dry.
now I liked where this was going but just knew it needed a bit of texture so i inked the inside of the Daisy Wreath embossing folder using the nutmeg color blend
i was sure to ink both sides prior to placing my dried paper leather sheet inside and running it through my vagabond
now my suitcase needed a bit of stitching
and finally it needed some accents and a little book was created with the left over bits of paint and paper leather!
thanks for stopping by today to see what a great combination Eileen Hulls dies by Sizzix, her paints by ColorBox and the ‘let me see what I can do next with this’ paper leather by Sizzix…..
til next time..
happy creating
Diana
