Eileen Hull – Art with Heart -stitchlits

hello everyone! i am back again this week to show you another project i have created for the Eileen Hulls  Art with Heart Challenge for the month of November with the theme A Stitch In Time.

12141757_10205595450222325_4087264197714737860_nYou can interpret that theme however you like, just show us your oh-Sew-crafty projects for a chance to win some of the new Stitchlits Sizzix dies. My teammates have been making some incredible projects and we are all very excited about this new collection.

now i am not a sewer or a card marker really but i have had so much fun creating with them and challenging myself.

so  i wanted to know, what could i cut with these stitchlits other than paper?   would i be able to do grungepaper?? well i wouldn’t know until i tried.  so i found myself a piece of grungepaper scrap (as if there is  such a thing as scrap grungepaper) and holy moly lo and behold it did!!  so then it was just a matter of what i would do with it

it fit perfectly on the side of a bag i use to cart supplies back and forth when i go to teach at my local scrapbook store so i knew it needed to be ‘ARTified’ so out came my tim holtz paints and some Art Anthology Stone effects here is what i ended up creating!

create art

and put it on this!!sizzix leather create artso then i got a thinking…. okay i wonder what else could i ‘stitch’ on and that is when i happened upon a package of Sizzix Paper Leather Sheets that i had ordered but wasn’t quite sure what i wanted to do with them….

this is what i have come up with!

i am a brave girl

i decorated an apron!!

sizzix leather sheetsand yes most definitely i will wear it and dirty it up!!

hope you have been playing along with the Art with Heart challenge. we love seeing what you have created!

You really have made fabulous use of the stitchlits Diana, I particularly love the ‘create art’! I used the dies to cut through quite thick wool felt and it cut like a dream. Hugs, Anne xx
