hello everyone!
today i am here to show you a little project i created for a special someone for valentines
so i once again used the Trinket Box, one of my favourite Eileen Hull dies, to create this project
i started out by cutting my pieces out of black mat board. i then embossed the front and back covers using one of Eileens folders. once that was done, using my finger i applied some metallic paint to the raised bits. it was then time to assemble the whole thing.
on the inside of the front cover i attached the hearts sheet with a red felt backing. i then glued the whole thing together using some foam tape.
i then assembled the box and attached ‘lock’ that i had painted with metallic paint
then it was just a matter of layering things to the top. i had used some oxide inks to paint the flowers and the ‘girls’, and added some chit chat stickers.
for the final touch i added a brad butterfly from Emerald Creek to the final flower.
but wait a minute…. look what happens when you pull on the ‘key lock’
yes that’s right.. it is actually a little drawer to hold a special note and the key to my heart!
SOCKS!!! i love love love socks!!!!
well that’s it for today from me!! thanks for stopping by
until next time my friends,
diana
