hello everyone!
I am back today to share with you a different way to use the Eileen Hull House/Pocket Stitchlit
I originally created my original project with this die as a banner and ever since then I have been thinking about a specific project and well this is the time to share it here with you!
in today’s world of social media it is so easy to request someone to share a prayer, a positive thought, sending a bit of light etc. and every time I see this I do a silent send their way and that is what got me thinking and creating
so i proceeded to cut out some house’s using the house/pocket stitchlit and in the way i folded it it turns out that i end up with a different type of banner bit that can be used!!
See you always need to be on the lookout for those extra ways right!
i took each one and folded down the top portion and sewed straight across the top in order to create a little pocket for a string to go through so i can hang these outside in the breeze.
next i placed the bits one at a time into my stamping platform and sometimes using the initials and sometimes the first name of the individuals, i stamped using some paint.
I then just added various stamps on the flags and then strung them up outside.
here are a few of the flags i want to share with you and hope it encourages you to look outside of what your die was created for and to what it can be used for as a bonus!
thanks for stopping by today! don’t forget that Sizzix has a Makers Challenge happening this month using Eileen’s Heartfelt collection. just click on this picture and it will take you there for all the details
remember you need to play along for a chance to win this prize!!!
until next time
