hello everyone!
As you will know, each month means a new challenge at Mixed Media Monthly, and this month our theme is “Photo Inspiration” and this months we were lucky enough to partner up with Indigo Blu stamps!
i had received the Floral Fantasy and the Country House set and for my first challenge this month I am using the Floral Fantasty
but before I go further, here is the graphic for this month and if you decide to play in our challenge, remember to add it to your post if you want to be in with a chance to win our sponsor’s prize! You can read all about it HERE
my project I was so lucky to be able to create during my vacation week so work on it outside which made the drying process really fast.
I started working on one side of a sheet of water colour paper using DecoArt paints in warm colours, stamped along the edge and then flipped over and repeated on the other side using cool colours. then it was just a matter of fussy cutting the image out and layering them
I then cut a mini album from matboard, sewed the outer edges, stamped my quote and butterfly and now it was just a matter of assembling.
I decided to add some white pen marks and pop dotted each layer before attaching to my book. so here you have it.. my finished project waiting to be filled / given away!
thanks for stopping by !!! now how about sharing what you can do with some altered embellishments!! join us over at MMM challenge post, check out the rules, and share share share!!!
