hello everyone!!
I am back and sharing the results of week four. it’s definitely been a month of challenging myself to get in the studio every single night. I have yet to find which is my ‘style’ but boy I am sure having fun playing.. just playing
the first page of this week was from a class I took from Deb Weiers. It was such a cool interesting class and I absolutely loved it!
for this page it was once again from a Dina Wakley Facebook class about layering. I so enjoyed playing along with that class. I am loving the challenge of layering but not creating mud puddles
For today’s art journal page I wanted to create a watercolour type page to celebrate the start of the autumn season
today’s art journal page is using bits and pieces of things I love and hoard and collect but yet struggle to find my way in using them… it is just another page, another way, and a piece of my journey to find my own true style.
For todays page, though it is hard to see, it is a whole lot of layers and using distress paint in three colours…. Along with some distress crayons.. I bought this stamp last year on a trip to take a class with Dyan with one of my besties….it was time to rip it open!!!
For todays page, it started out from a mop up back ground page and I just added my journalling and stamping and fuzzy cut pieces. I also dug out some clear embossing powder and was quite surprised that the ink from my typewriter ribbon was wet enough to accept the powder.. nice nice surprise..
and for this weeks final page was created with bit of pieces of stuff in my desk. I was in full clean up mode after the creative week… mind you I did get distracted but more on that project another day. This page CRACKS
that is it for this week.. I will be back to finish posting my September art journal pages this week. I am also working on another project which I will post soon!
