hello everyone!
today I am sharing with you a quick art journal page I created using an old ‘mop up’ page. these are the best jump starts to any pages. I have so many…
what is a mop up page….well basically any time I create anything instead of cleaning up my stencils in water I first add the left over paint / paste to a blank page or two…. nothing like it to kick start the next art journaling session!!
so for this particular page i added some extra stencil marks with water and with paint before setting it aside to dry
I have been provided with some product to create this project however the opinions I share are solely my own
for my next piece i had another page that i had started so i layered on some waxes and just kept playing until i had a background i liked
and then i had another idea!!! i started by going back to my background page and added a focal point using some black texture paste
but then i had yet another idea but not the stencil that i wanted… BUT did you know that TCW has blank stencils that you can make your own stencils!!! oh yes they do!!!
next i went back to my other piece and decided that i wanted to save it for another project but that circle i cut out added some wings to it and then i cut the individual wings out… 
next i took out some wax and applied to my black texture paste areas for a bit of shine

i think that in life we sometimes forget the important things….we forget to tell those we still have with us how much we love them… how we treasure them and the memories created with them….and we sometimes beat ourselves up over things in the past…when instead we must understand that we can’t go backwards but must live forward….
my art journal pages are very special reminders for me for such things…
