so here is another project i have been working on.
i love taking the time and playing in my craft room. I really love how this one turned out.
i started out with two 6×6 chunky canvases and applied some Tim Holtz paper to them with a bit of Claudine Hellmuth multi matte medium. in the meantime i had my melt pot heating with some beeswax and once melted and the medium dried I covered them in some beeswax. i then used my Ranger heat gun and evened out the wax on the papers.
then it was time to dig out a couple of my Tim Holtz sizzix dies, the clock and butterfly which i cut out of some grunge paper. oh how much fun i had doing this. i may or may not be a little addicted to the smell of this product!!! i then ran a sheet of Ranger sticky back metal through with the butterfly die… i so wanted to play with a bit of alcohol ink!
Once all the products were cut out i started colouring with distress stains and alcohol inks and archival inks and embossing powders and well anything messy!!! fun fun fun.
the quote is from a sheet i downloaded from Rhonna’s site which i pop dotted onto the canvas; i used a bit of my new gathered twigs ink to edge them.
I also used the new ripe persimmon and seedless preserves on my project to go with the orange, purple and black challenge over at Inspiration Emporium but really i would have used those colours anyway because i love love love my new distress ink pads.
til next time…
HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!

Great canvas and can see that Tim & Claudine influence all styled up with your own attitude
