okay… i have to admit it … i am addicted to any and all things tim. (warning a very long post but only cause i am so excited over this purchase!)
i absolutely love EVERYTHING that has his name on it.. though i haven’t tried the new glitter yet so maybe there will be something i don’t like… but really who am i kidding right…
so when a friend of mine started posting that she found his fabric in a store in Maine i was like so envious of her!! i started my search on line right a way.. O.M.G….. they ship to Canada.. but wait.. fabric, duty and taxes and… was it worth it…
but wait… a plea on facebook was answered. one of my friends was heading to the states the following week and said she would stop and see if they had any left…once again O.M.G….. yes please and thank you.
so off she went, and a week and a bit later i received a message… she found some of it and did i want to meet her right away to get it cause well she knew how excited i was!!!
YES PLEASE!!!!
so the exchange happened.. i took it home and opened it there.
I COULDN’T BREATH!!!! it was almost like meeting tim for the first time again!!!!! ALMOST…..LOL
here is what she brought me
3 wonderful yards of fabric….now i needed to decide what to do with it. you see i may or may not hoard all my tim stuff. i love it, want to use it but it needs to be on a very special project. but because folks tease me, okay they know me, and figure i will just collect because of that little name (LOL) i wanted to prove them all wrong. i can’t sew. i think about it and would love nothing better than to make a beautiful quilt with it but alas i can’t sew. so i decided to create this instead.
i love how it turned out !!! one of my favourite quotes.
if you made it this far thanks and i hope you take a moment to leave me a comment!

This is frickin’ awesome! I can’t wait to find some of the fabric. Please share how you made this, I’d love to do one.

Almost as fun as the bench…..NOT!!
Nothing will ever take the place of the bench.
i so agree!!! that moment will never be matched!!
Nice project w/T’s new fabrics! I like the quote, too. I agree w/Mario, great post. 🙂
I feel the same way! Great post…….
How wonderful that you were able to get some of Tim’s fabric. What a really neat project you came up with. I love it!
WOWSERS!!!! LUV this fabric………..I’m in Canada, so where do I get it?? even if I had 1 charm pack I could whip up a delightful quilt top……gotta get me some of this stuff!!!!
Besides the verse being so very encouraging you have done an awesome job of creating the look of an hand sewn collage! Very fine with the texture and color drawing the eye in ~ FABULOUS!!
Joyfully…..~Sandie
Your joy is infectious. Your admiration of Tim is so cute! Love your project. Way to go!
Love this so much! It’s great!
Awesome! Thank you for giving hope to those of us who can’t sew, but still want to create with Tim’s fabrics!
Diana: How clever you are, girl! I too can’t wait to get my hands on that fabric. I can sew, but haven’t for years. Time to dust the old sewing machine off 🙂
PS That my favorite bible verse!
This is so completely awesome – both how hard you worked to GET the fabric AND the great project you created!
You know, for those of you without sewing machines nor the ability to sew, you could totally use Tim’s ruler and sharp pointy thing…there are evenly spaced holed on the ruler, and the (craft pick? Is that what it’s called?) will fit right in those holes to go right through your layers, preparing them for your needle and thread.
Or there’s always the WeRMemoryKeepers roller stitch thing.
Finally, the book Sew Wild will be AWESOME to use withTim’s fabrics – can t wait!!!!
Love your enthusiasm! Also tend to hang on to what I love for fear it won’t be available again! Your project is wonderful, good job!
Wow! How clever! I love it! Who needs to sew when you can create such beautiousness!
