okay.. so i am sure you have all had the opportunity to visit sew4home and see all the wonderful projects that they have posted during the last couple of weeks using the new eclectic elements by none other than ubber talented tim holtz. i followed and i watched and i braved creating the flower
so i cut ( i just knew someday i would use this tool) and i pressed (yes i own an iron)
then i sewed and i cut again!
now on to figure out what to do with this flower.
I HAD IT.. i would create a fallish wreath for the front door to welcome people as they come visit
I attached the fabric to a piece of grungeboard ( did you know i am addicted to the smell of grunge…true story)and gathered the rest of my supplies
now on to additional flowers. i gathered my tattered floral die and knew i wanted to use that but also knew i would get much dimension with the grunge so what could i use. off i went searching through my tim drawers (yes i have tim drawers) and found some of Wendy Vecchi’s clearly for art and asked myself i wonder what would happen if i attached my material to the clearly for art… i’ll tell you what happens.. MAGIC!!!
so i continued on with gluing and cutting and layering and playing and with out further ado here is my latest, hardly any sewing but lots of fabric, eclectric element project:
thanks for stopping by. love to hear what you think of my project and don’t forget to link up over at tim’s eclectic element page to share what you have created!!
