hello everyone!!!
This year Fairfield World is celebrating its 80th birthday! For 80 days different designers are sharing projects using Poly-FIl and I am part of the 80th party!!
for my project I seriously started out creating a couple of little pillows
the first one I made was using a square I had finished a while back from left over bits of fabric from a quilt I made. the word ‘CHERISH’ is actually cut out of an old robe my Nanny had given me many years ago.
I absolutely had so much fun creating this little pillow that I thought why not make another one and this one I chose a Christmas themed pillow
and then!!!! oh my gosh I truly honestly was having so much fun playing with the fill as it is like the softest stuff I have ever played with, it got me to thinking……hmm I wonder if I could…….. BUILD A SNOWMAN!
I started digging through my recycle bin for some cardboard. you see I wanted a flat back snowman to hang on the wall just outside my condo door…. so I sketched out a snowman
than I dug through my Kunin Felt stash and found some of the colours I needed and started creating and unfortunately I did not take many photos .. okay I only took one photo!
and then here you have it.. my snowman!!! I can’t wait to hang him out for my neighbours to see
all the flowers are from dies by Eileen Hull and the felt is Kunin felt and he is practically a no sew project but with lots and lots of glue!!!
is he not just the cutest ever!!! and so so welcoming every time I come home!
I hope you have enjoyed my stop along the party train!!!
until next time my friends
