during our first winter storm

 this little bundle was given to me.

A gift

born on my mother’s birthday

2 years after she passed.

a treasure

which i have cherished each day since.

it is a sad day

turned into a beautiful moment each year.

for giving me such a perfect reminder

that life is worth living..

you saved my life.
