art journalling – heaven in a stick

okay.. so i have a new love.. no it doesn’t mean i am giving up all my Ranger products cause let’s face facts here.. i am and always will be in love with my inks and sprays

BUT

have you ever tried faber castell products. yes, i have had pitt pens for quite some time because they are perfect for art journalling but have seen in the last little bit those curious looking things in the shape of a blistex.. yes something else i am addicted too!!

so i finally found me some over the weekend and yes folks indeed, heaven in a stick. you can do so many wonderful things with gelatos. you can colour, you can mix with water and  add to a spray container, you can stamp with them.. i am thinking there is a lot more that can be done but i have just started so hopefully will learn lots more in the near future to share with you.

okay so with all that said my first post is going to be all about joining in a challenge over at design memory craft. their challenge was to use these colours:

i had so much fun making this.
