art journalling calendar – September

i can hardly believe i have been doing this for 8 months going into the 9th and every day so far i have written a small note in each day. i love looking back and seeing what has happened … some days not so much … but still it has been one heck of a year so far.

for this month i chose to use my tim holtz distress paints.. i love how they react with water as well as maintain their true colours when one choses to do a bit of layer.. as long as you remember to dry in between that is!!!

one my paints were dry on the back ground i then sprayed a bit of dylusions white spray onto the page … thinking the whole school theme here….

then it came time to embellish and keeping on with using the distress paints i just applied them direct to my craft blending tool and smudged the through the stencil.
