i so love a challenge and a challenge i did take
as you may know i teach a journalling class once a month and the ladies there had wanted to take the time to do their own calendar page each month (we totally forgot to do this one on Saturday!) we were so caught up in comforting a friend and playing with a new product. i am hoping the ladies take the time and create their pages on their own!
so the challenge for me was to use my mop up page that i had created showing the ladies last month how i ‘clean’ my stencils and demonstrating layering.
to create my April page.
well i just added a bit of water and lots of dylusions:
and this is what i came up with:
i am still in the process of using up all my grunge board letters instead of hoarding them so my A i covered with crackle paint and then a splash of distress stain! i also used some archival ink to stamp some images around my page and a white pen to a bit of filling. the ‘raindrops’ on m page are stickles!
i can’t wait to add my daily journalliing into the brollies! stop on by Kate’s blog and take a boo at the original calendar girl!!
