May long weekend project!

i worked hard crafting all weekend…. not in my craft room but outside!!

i started with this:

and went to this!

it was alot of work.. i mean a  lot but oh so much fun. i love doing stuff like this.. this is me. half way through i called my dad just to let him know how thankful i am that he raised me, his daughter, to believe i could do anything i put my mind too. well i put my mind to replacing the front step, MOVING THAT TREE, and creating a welcoming entry to all who visit. i truly am thankful, grateful for each and every moment of my life.

so as you can see a lot of my time was spent outside, even in the rain and not much spent inside BUT if you look closely you can see that some of my craft room was indeed used to create this welcoming spot using my new distress paints, wendi vecchi embossing paste, a couple of squirts of my dylusions black and white sprays and finished off with perfect pearls:

i still have a few finishing touches to do in and around the front yard but today was a full scale rain day so i spent my day in my pj’s in the craft room working on class samples for next weekend as well as a page all for me.

tomorrow it is back to work…
