okay. so i think it was only last week that i posted the clock for the tim holtz tattered floral challenge.
well that clock will be going in to my son and the girlies new apartment and i really wanted a new clock for my craft room… soooooo
i made this!! the lyrics are from our wedding song happy together!
i started out by covering a canvas using glue n seal and torn paper and then spelling out my wording.
then i layered on various colours of pain over my entire canvas
once the paint was almost dried i took off my letters and was left with this!
now i was still hooked on the whole tattered floral challenge put out by tim and thought i would attempt to make a little flower for my canvas for two reasons. one i love the tattered floral die and the tissue paper combination i had seen Heather using for her challenge as well as i wanted to bring a bit of the purple hues in our photo to the canvas so out came my distress stain…
and then using my finger i put some on my lettering as well
for the clock portion i wanted it raised so i had once again used my glue n seal and attached one of our older photo’s to a small $ store canvas, placed the clock in behind, made a hole for the dials and tada!! my clock was complete!
