i am back for a share of my 11th weekly layout based off this weeks challenge over at Art to the 5th
a little story first:
i begin my weeks on a Sunday….and Sunday’s happen to be my long runs and this week’s long run was to be 12km….. i have to say it was my worse run yet…. i am not sure if it was because i have been injured and not running, whether it was a lack of proper fuel/water or a lack of sleep.. no matter what it was it was a sucky run!!
why am i telling you all that.. well in doing my page, which I had started on Saturday right after the challenge was posted, i had started by using a Stencil Girl stencil and some texture paste. I then sprayed with dylusions followed by inking through various stencils using the new line of dylusions paint and then I added a layer of white distress spray through a dina wakley stencil…..and realized that right there in the middle of my pages are the numbers 1 and 8.. which are really the bases of my favourite number in the world, 811118 (a combination of very important dates)
and why the lengthy story to go with the picture… my Sunday run ended up being 11.18km… kind of a message to me that it was okay and meant to be exactly what it was meant to be.
so I am pulling up my big girl panties and continuing on with my training!
