can you believe we are into our June challenges already!!! not sure what it is like your neck of the woods but it is suppose to be beautiful and sunny and hot here in june.. so far not so much…..but it makes it fantastic weather to run in so I really am not complaining (too much!)

week 23 – June 6
here is my take of this weeks challenge
I used a layer of gesso on one page, smooshed them together, let dry. then I added a layer using texture paste and then once that was dry I attacked my page using the 4 new distress stain sprays…cracked pistachio, abandoned coral, mermaid lagoon and fossilized amber. I can’t wait until the other two arrive!!!
I am not sure but my distress stains are something that I hold on to, look at but rarely play with… I am thinking after this weeks page that may change!!
another product that I love to collect but rarely play with are my distress markers but that sure changed when Tim posted this tag in april and I created this.. I was a little hooked on them!! I absolutely love how my balloon turned out!!
and here is my final spread… I am going to write something on the right hand page but just haven’t found the exact thing I want yet…and like all my pages I love going back and doodling during the week when I open it up to record a moment on the back of the date flap.
I sure hope you are playing along or at least creating weekly if not daily…it only takes a few minutes a day to record those moments ….
