hello everyone!
i am just here to share with you a project i created up cycling an old Glass TV type tray. i thought it would be a perfect surface for those small projects that i create while watching TV in the evenings.
so i am showing you in pictures a few things i did. i totally forgot to take a picture of the before and may have missed a few steps in between but you will get the idea i am sure!!
so i started out by picking up some supplies in the studio and my tray (and took it upstairs to watch a few movies while up cycling it!)
i first started by covering the old background with a coat of titanium white paint
once that i was done and my decision on which paper i wanted for the background i then started the project and glued a solid sheet in place and once again covered with the matte sealer and then i stencilled and chose some paints
now it was time to spread some paints
and then some more colours and some splotches to distress and layer the back ground some more!
and then i t was a matter of adding and taking away and layering with stencils.
i loved how this turned out and i may just have a hard time layering things on this tray instead of just admiring the finished project
